First off i wanna say i like how this came to be like Thomas and Guy Manuel when they were both kids growing up in France they loved Anime especially Captain Harlock so they traveled to Japan and met with Leiji Matsumoto who created Captain Harlock and he was their childhood hero basically and showed Masumoto the discovery album and wanted to make a movie from it which he agreed and was even one of the directors.

I Had to watch this movie all over again after the recent news that after 28 years Daft Punk will be breaking up. And this movie is just as good as i remember so and i love how there is no dialogue no voice acting but it was still phenomenal.

Thank you for all the great memories Daft Punk
