[Spoiler Review!]

I look again at the reviews and see nothing but praise for such a trainwreck of a manga. This manga is quite similar to the original manga it sprouted its parasitic limbs from; another sad attempt at using tragic events to create a sense of pity and "meaning" for the characters within this "story."

Story: 2/10

I already provided a somewhat in-depth story analysis for the original, so I won't bother to do the same. There is no story here, just a mold to pour tragic events into.

The story starts with Reina, her mom, and her daughter. Reina's boyfriend suggests breaking up when Reina mentions that she was ra*ed and has a child. Reina is now sad. Reina's mom is put in the hospital for working too hard. Reina's child falls down the stairs and ends up blind. Reina tries to find a job, but she can't because she is a high school dropout. Reina goes into s*x work. Reina makes a friend! Reina gets targeted by the boss of the s*x shop. Reina gets forcefully put into an S&M situation with the boss. Reina's friend hits the boss with a fire extinguisher and tells her to run. Reina runs to her boyfriend's house. Reina's boyfriend says he was sorry for running and says he will stay with Reina to raise her kid together. Reina mentions that her friend is in a bad situation with the boss. Reina's boyfriend runs to help. Reina's boyfriend gets a bullet shot through his skull by the boss. Reina wonders where her boyfriend is for so long. Reina finds her boyfriend with a hole in his forehead. Reina is sad. Reina is kept as an S&M human s*x doll by the boss. Reina is in a bad situation, so Yoshiyuki from the original manga comes and says he wants to save Reina to the manager of the s*x shop. Reina is being kept hostage, so Yoshiyuki throws smoke grenades (yeah, he actually does this) into the boss's house to try and rescue her. Reina is seen as a shell of her former self, and Yoshiyuki hugs her as the boss approaches from behind with a gun to Yoshiyuki. Reina shoots at the boss with the gun after Yoshiyuki punches the boss, and the bullet hits Yoshiyuki. Reina is now being taken care of by Yoshiyuki (who knows what happened to the boss and his goons who kept Reina prisoner). The end!

Tl;dr Basically, the story is just about Reina and the bad things that happen to her. That is all.

Art: 5/10

Standard shoujo art style. Nothing good, nothing bad.

Character: 2/10

Reina is just a tragedy magnet, and Yoshiyuki is her knight in shining armor. Everyone else is a set of irrelevant plot devices used to further Reina's tragic life.

Enjoyment: 2/10

I am very fond of how the boss is just killing people and keeping a girl with a family hostage and isn't caught yet. The lack of believability in this manga is laughably bad.

Overall: 2/10

Overall, this manga is as much as a trainwreck as the original manga. In the moment, you can maybe justify giving this anything above a 4/10, but if you look at this manga objectively, you can see the many flaws and the mediocrity that it displays.
