Mixed Feelings
This is about a boy who wants to save a single girl with the power of determination and friendship. Sounds simple enough? Why not overdecorate it with a lot of other stuff into the settings like:

-humans, non-humans, humanoids etc
-all mythical, biblical, and historical references.
-post apocalyptic sci-fi world with a chance of the world (ending again?)

For this reason, this is definitely not the kind of anime you can watch while doing something else.... unless you are into the fan service which is also nice as well.

There is also mecha-fighting involved to which the production studio (Sunrise) shows their mastery of the choreography animation. With the combination of good voice acting and music quality, you can say that the production quality is actually really good. This is probably the reason I like the animation quality to which I have give high scores to Art and Sound rather the other criteria.

The original content is from an old light novel series (still continuing to this day), and each volume is thicc af. Reading the first few light novels myself, I am actually quite impressed with how much the staff could concisely make a season from this series. If you want to dive into the universe of this story, it is best to read the light novel for that the animation cuts straight into the scenes without explaining much of the worldview.

Otherwise, enjoy all the pervy stuff .
