i don't know about some of these reviews man. maybe its because some of them are 'seasoned' watchers of anime (harsh critics) or this just isn't they're genre. But then it raises the question of if you don't like this type why are you watching it? I also se a lot of people saying they dropped it halfway (or less) which i think means you don't deserve an opinion on the show itself. So far i've enjoyed mha immensely, it's gotta be up there with my other favourites, like aot, the first half of slime isekai (hoping s2 of that will be better than the end of that season lmao) and s1 one punch. now onto the specifics of s4.

Story: 2 arcs are covered in this season, with me very much enjoying both. the build up to the yakuza fights where great, making you connect with Deku much more as an mc and making him less shallow. 7 of the other students also get much more development in this series, continuing with the theme of making you try to connect with everyone and not just the mc, which i must say they've done a good job of. even the fair arc separating the next one that will be covered in s5 (i've read the manga), was enjoyable. i see some people thought it was boring, and thats understandable if you aren't interested in the characters and taking a peek into more normal life to them, but i think that is a good part of this anime, so its very worthwhile watching.

Characters: i liked how they developed in this, seeing Deku become more of a independent mc and relying less on those around him. you see the other students improve aswell, and get to see what type of person that Mirio is and how he will develop alongside the class. Kirishima also becomes more of a real character this season instead of just Bakugo's friend. you also get too see more about the 'side hero's' and how they will get bigger roles in the future, overall, character development and fights this season where just great.

Music and Art: as usual, no qualms with the music and the art wasn't bad either. sometimes it did drop though, hence my 7-8 for artwork. still enjoyable to watch and nothing that impedes the excellent storytelling.

Overall, i started and finished mha in about the space of a week summer last year and then quickly got the manga. this show is one of my favourites and i hope anyone reading this will agree when they decide to give the anime a serious go and really try to enjoy it instead of nitpicking all the tiny things they can about the show. Just try to enjoy anime, don't look at it as one big thing to critique, and maybe you'll start enjoying it s a fan again instead of someone like that. This goes for all anime by the way, not just mha.
