In this review of this , i will try to talk about the whole show and not only the 3rd season , so bear with me , also forgive my English .
Story 8/10
-Easily my fav part about this show , its a shonen romance/drama with some comedy in thrown in the mix , it tells the story of saiko and his friend takagi who are thriving to be famous mangakas in weekly shonen jump ehm ehm shonen jack. the protagonist falls in love with his classmate azuki then they make a promise to get married when his manga gets an anime adaptation and she becomes the va of the heroine in his story .This premise hooked me from the get go as someone who is interested in the anime/manga industry , and this show was super informative , it also showed the dark nature , bad sides of being a mangaka and how it can take a toll on the body and the mind .the romace portrayed in this show was imo too pure/perfect to be called realistic but i didnt mind it , and in the end i was satified with it . Another thing to note is thta the anime adapted the whole manga although they skipped some minor arcs .
Art and animation 6/10
-The worst part about this show , animation is not impressive , art looks off and faces with eyes so small that looks weird as hell .
Sound 8/10
- I liked the soundtracks used , they were hyper motivational , op 1 , 2 and 3 are iconic and spam able.
Characters 7/10
-I wasn't a big fan of the mc , but other characters carried the show mainly:
Azuki , the heroine of the show , she was a bit too perfect but she was likable af
Chief editor , super intimidating with an overwhelming presence
Aoki , i liked her development , she went from an arrogant bitch to kind and humble lady
Minamine , the villain of the show , i liked him at the beginning but i wasnt a big fan of his characterization which was similar to yagami light
Nizuma , the main antagonist , he isn't a villain but he is a quirky character
Enjoyment 8/10
-Obviously i enjoyed my time watching this show , if i didn't i wouldn't have finished 75 episodes of it , as someone who spends hours fantasizing about imaginary plots it was my cup of tea , it even inspired me to draw some story boards back in the summer vacation.
Overall 8/10
-To conclude , tsugimi sesnsei is a veteren author who not only can write excellent psychological mangas like death note and All you need is kill , but he can also write drama and romance .This an unique experience not to miss for old anime watchers.
