Stylish, weird and rich with symbolism. This movie is as studio trigger at it gets.

I'm usually not a fan of cg, but the visual effects in this movie were absolutely beatiful, the character designs were interesting and aesthetically appealing and the witty use of basic shapes to represent fire was absolutely brilliant though i would've never been able to come up with it myself. A production about fire is usually rich in warm colors like orange, yellow and red but this movie managed to incorporate bright, beautiful aurora borealis-like colors while still making it obvious to the viewer that it was fire.

Movies usually lack the time for proper character development but in promare, all the characters (except maybe vulcan) were likable with motivations that made sense, i could empathize with the villain but i was still rooting for the protagonists to save the day.

As it often happens when it comes to studio trigger works, things got weird and lacked sense but I wouldn't call the story flawed since it was never meant to be too serious to begin with. Still, i liked the clear symbolism and message that came with the movie.

The soundtrack was great, superfly never disappoints and it really set the tone for the movie.

Overall, would definitely recommend. Beautiful, exciting movie that had action in it while maintaining a heartfelt, wholesome tone to it.
