Each episode of the second season of Re:Zero had a corresponding episode in this short chibi series. Essentially, these are short comedy skits with the characters in the chibi style, this is mainly done through Otto's diary as he is writing about the adventures.

Even though a lot of people may say the art style is too basic, it needs to be remembered that this is on purpose. Moreover, I would like to point out how clean and smooth the actual animations are - the art style itself is actually of a very impressive quality, even within such a simplistic form.

I personally feel like there were not nearly enough sound effects/music in this. Whilst I am aware that the episodes are only 3 minutes so there is not a lot of time to put them in, it just feels like it is lacking sound other than a doorbell like sound at the start of the episodes and the voice acting.

Otto Suewen - A merchant who just couldn't sell his oil, got kidnapped by a cult and saved by the main story protagonist, Natsuki Subaru.
