Kazuya had his first relationship ended in just a month, feeling the need to comfort and heal himself, he decide to go online. Stumbled upon an app, "Diamond", he rented a girlfriend.
Story: 9/10
The male protagonist, Kinoshita, Kazuya, represents half of the male population, developing feelings for a really attractive female; that he met through an app. Most of the events/scenario that happened in the show/series are based on real life, but exaggerated version. Most anime exaggerate things, which it's not surprising. It's to make things more dramatic and exciting to watch, as some audience might get bored watching if it's too plain.
Art: 10/10
The art is really pretty, and the animation is smooth.
Sound: 10/10 will listen to the opening song over and over again.
Character: 8/10
The characters are well-designed. They are both lovable and detestable, for instance Mami and Sumi.
Mami will remind you of those people you encounter in your life, those who are nice and polite in front of you; but behind your back, badmouth about you.
Sumi is a cinnamon roll. I love her.
Chizuru and Ruka;
Chizuru appears to be mature and dedicated to her job and goals. She is very well-liked by many, as she is good at making a good first impression. She is every man's dream. She has two sides to her, apparently.
Ruka: Ruka appears to be extremely cute when she was first featured, she is the type to get clingy to try to get close to you.
Enjoyment: 8/10
Since this shows covers real life events, I enjoyed it. It is very relatable to watch, which is probably why this anime gets popular quickly, a lot of people can relate. They can see themselves in the protagonist. Making dumb mistakes like jumping to conclusions, based on what he sees and hear. Stepping over one's boundaries, without considering other people's feelings and the fact that Chiziru will call the police on Kazuya. If you imagine a real life scenario where someone does what kazuya do in the show, they will be reported to the police or get a restraining order.
Overall: 8/10
I recommend to those who enjoy seeing pretty art with nice lighting, a male protagonist chasing over someone who have no interest at them at first, but slowly develop feelings. Basically, it's a slow and steady character development. It may be frustrating and painful to watch at first, but it's a really good anime that teaches you about events that happen in real life. Most of the scenarios that happen in the show, happen in real life too; just less exaggerated and happen in a normal way.
