Hikigaya is my main reason for watching the show. Season 1 came out with all the comedy. Season 2 had its moments but mostly it was sad, it never felt like Oregairu will take a dark turn. People claim this show uninteresting, Maybe it is. For me, no it isn't. I giggled and cried at many scenes, the rap battle got me laughing hard. I like how Yui just pulled out her camera and started recording him rapping. The BGMs are what I love after the overall plot of the anime. They are time timed right and are done well. The opening and endings are good too.
Oregairu lost its realistic nature around season 2 ending. Why? Hachiman is way too matured to be a high schooler. His words and willingness to get something genuine is not something you would expect from a high schooler at all. Yukino and Yui were still on the realistic track, seeing Yui cry make me cry honestly.
Let's talk about Hachiman, he is a protagonist who is not at all clueless about his surroundings. He knows that the two girls love him. We know it by the answer he gave to Haruno's question about "Do you know, what type of relationship you have?" and he responds with "A.... love triangle"
This is not one of those anime where the MC is a clueless guy, not only that, but he also has a conscience which he usually abandons by sacrificing himself to help others. Doesn't force people too much if they don't want to do something.
About his sister, she is a genuine sister. They portrayed her well, I have a little sister and she is like her too. But, Komachi is like Hikigaya. She knows what to do and when. She seems jolly and playful from outside but she thinks very deeply just like Hachiman and cares about her brother.
Overall, Oregairu has been one of the best anime I have ever watched and for me, it's a 10/10
Only thing I gave the Art a 9/10 because of the Art of the first season.
