plot 6/10
the plot is kind of generic in the sense that there's 2 groups of people. One that came to that land to try and find the way to become immortal and another group that is the leader of that land. The main duo are just travelers with no real goal. one of the groups tries to capture the boy so that they could take his blood and use it to create a drug thats makes you immortal. So yeah it's kind of generic but it was interesting in the fact that they used some matter of politics.
Art/Animation 9/10
The art and landscape is beautiful and fits perfectly with the theme of this anime. Not to mention the animation and fight choreography is some of the best i've seen.
Music 3/10
the only music I really liked was the music at the end. Most of the time it did its job but sometimes the music would convey a different feeling than what's actually going on in the movie. For example one time there was a song that would remind me of either a bagpipe or Egypt when they were riding horses.
Characters 7/10
The development in the characters are really subtle which I can appreciate. The main villain is a guy just looking for a fight and I personally really like when bad guys are like that. I like all the types of characters in this movie and there was not really any characters that really annoyed me. The only thing that was bad about the characters was that they were kind of generic.
Overall 7/10
This anime was very enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone who likes samurai and can handle some gore. Even if you don't like samurai I bet you will definitely find some enjoyment in this anime. If you are in quarantine and can't find anything to do just go watch this anime. It is worth your time.
