Preliminary (25/45 chp)
Story was incredibly realistic. It doesn't pull any punches when it comes to highlighting the terrible aspects of existence.
It doesn't glorify anything, instead using the constant negative aspects to promote an ultimately positive and meaningful message.
The manga repeats over and over again that many children are tortured, essentially, by bad parenting and a lack of attention and help from society as a whole. I find this highly relevant and important - I can recommend the manga for this reason alone.

Art doesn't mean anything to me but I found it very good.

The protagonist exemplifies everything good about humanity. Some may find him too perfect - annoyingly so. This doesn't bother me as it remains realistic. He can fail, and in the 000 chapter (I don't know what else to call it) it reveals his motivation in a sense, and an explanation as to why he is perfect.
Side characters make a lot of sense. They're almost all in-depth and human. However some wholly bad characters are used to push a message. This message is a tearjerker and correct, however in doing this some characters seem way too one-dimensional and out of place in an otherwise realistic manga.

One of the most enjoyable manga to read - but not in the traditional sense. The manga is a tragedy and so technically there's not much enjoyment to be found. However it is extremely fulfilling to read, you feel like you actually benefited from reading this manga. It is important and thus you feel good about having seen it, that's why I give this a 10.
