So the Abandoned Empress was probably one of the first Korean webtoons I've ever read, and was what probably dragged me down into the manhwa hole that I haven't gotten out of yet.
Story (7/10): Well, I've read sooo many reincarnation stories at this point and TAE is probably one of the better ones and it has a really interesting premise, because (I think) TAE was one of the first manhwa to make the MC the villainess (don't quote me on that- it was one of the first I've read way back before villainess manga started flooding my page) and I love the story. Sometimes it gets dragged on a little bit and the story starts to get a little redundant at certain points like the same scenes are happening over and over again, but at those moments my heart just clenches up because I feel so bad for the MC :( Yeah, I think TAE has one of the better villainess reincarnation stories out there.
Art (10/10): There's nothing else to say about the art except for the fact it's brilliant. Absolutely stunning. The artist did an amazing job.
Character (8/10): I love the characters in TAE, and even the seemingly simple characters actually have a different side to them and a complicated past, but the main character Aristia really undergoes amazing character development, from a icy woman to somebody who develops such a bright smile. I love seeing what she does in every chapter, though of course, she is your dense MC.
Enjoyment (9/10): I really enjoyed TAE, and although the chapters are coming out a lot slower now, I'll wait forever. *^*
