Mayo Chiki! (2010-2013)

I must say that this was a brilliant read. I watched the anime recently and therefore got ready to read the manga. I read it all in less than a day so it is a nice quick manga and is greatly enjoyable.

The story going through develops a whole lot. I did enjoy no matter how the harem way got set in that it did push for the resolution in a way that was realistic. The flow from start to finish makes for a very enjoyable read with each chapter giving you something to look forward to seeing. You get the shocking moments really in your chest when they happen towards the end.

The art of the manga is superb. It is very much consistent throughout the entire thing and shows for great detail. It is great to have occasional coloured sections but they did well enough that the black and white was enough.
Backgrounds were done very well throughout. For example, seeing Masamune's apartment from different angles but keeping the building and rooms within a great margin of being the same.
Character designs throughout are a credit to the illustrator since they really do represent real people. Especially the girls in showing so many different types and no one having features that are outrageously large.

Characters have a very solid development throughout. The series has a pretty large cast of people that make some pretty consistent appearances which is excellent. Seeing the relationship(s) blossom and the hardships that some of the characters go through is very interesting. The development was far more than who gets the guy but actually was deep and meaningful.

In the end, this for me is a masterpiece. Although it is not the best in every category it does have a pretty amazing story with great art and development. The enjoyment is top-notch too bringing it to a pretty solid result.

I must say that for me Masamune is the best girl. A real girl like her would be awesome. We can only dream eh.
