What a year, not only did this gem come out I was also born.
The movie is a great one of the Studio Ghibli set.
The story is straight forward yet complex and follows a great love of aviation. The wacky designs of the aircraft are just such a great memory of childhood when I first saw this film and now again in 2020.
The art is great especially with age it has not faltered even a day. It has its consistency throughout every second.
Sound is very good and has been thought out well. The Dub is as good as the Sub which is unusual.
Characters are very good. Everyone plays their part very well and I really like the introduction of Fio towards the second half as she really brings the show to its climax.
As far as this classic goes it is a credit to its studio and is forever a great memory of the classically days of animation.
