ShindoL makes quality doujins, the kind that you read for the story and not for the “plot.” On occasion, he makes some wholesome stuff, but without a doubt, I’d say ShindoL's Cultural Anthropology is my favorite work by him.

I’m not the kind of person who’s into most of the stuff that ShindoL put into his works, but I thought that it was interesting and funny.

Overall, I give a 10*, for the story, art, characters, and enjoyment what I honestly thought of it, no bias here. Here's why:

Story: I’m not gonna spoil you with anything about how it plays out. The story was put together perfectly, featuring unexpected situations and a smooth progressive build towards the climax (I’m talking about the actual story, not the 18+ stuff.)

Art and Characters: The backgrounds and characters were drawn beautifully and the shading fit well with the emotions that took place on each page.

Enjoyment: Do I really need to say anything here? I put a 10 for R-18 content, enough said.

Again, I really recommend giving this a read, but do keep in mind that some of ShindoL’s doujins are not for you. He did write Emergence, after all.

*Edit: I forgot to mention this, but as I typically have a lower rating toward 18+ content than I do non-18+ content, my personal score for this is a 7.
