Beauty will be convulsive or will not be at all.--Andre Breton
And so goes for this manga.
The best word that describes the story and the whole theme,is nothing but the actual name itself!
Resonance:the special meaning or importance that something has for you because it relates to your own experiences.
The more you read the more you get close to this world but not only because Takahashi (the mangaka) himself had such experiences like living in downtown and Yakuza business and etc,but because that's the way the story leads one.this is true in our own lives too ,you get more connected to the people who share some bad or good experiences with you because you can get more connected to them.
The story is pretty much fast you just read and go on,there are no stops and it takes less than a day to finish it.
Takahashi points out some of the maybe serious problems of the modern society but while keeping the note that somethings are just fate and one can not change and should live with it, however the interesting point is that no matter how hard a situation can be,man always tend to find happiness,we see a lot of misfortunes or maybe it's wrong to call it such however they go through it because simply there is no way,and that is what I like about the characters.
About enjoyment, such stories are not written to give the reader but to give one the feeling that maybe I am not that unfortunate!maybe I have far more than I need, maybe I should know the value of things that I already have and love them to the very end, maybe I should love my family more, etc.
Art is just classic Takahashi,if you have read some other of his works you know what I mean.
Overall is that if you haven't read other works of Takahashi, this may be not the best one to start because he has some better works however this doesn't mean that this is a bad work, actually after I read it I didn't feel that I have wasted my time,I was happy with what was provided but this may not be the work that you gonna remember let's say 10 years later.
Thanks for reading, hope you all the embrace the moment.
