After watching all episodes from 1 to 24, I can really say I don't regret watching this at all.
It started slow, it seemed lackluster, maybe the original work would be better, but I finally continued the series with the Seiran "movies" and the plot was starting to take form and it became quite interesting.
(+) Why a remake? Obviously there's more possibilities now with the CGI upgrade and the characters are more natural and more credible with this new aesthetics. I'm not a person that really likes the bellic genre, I really hate it but this is more about an amazing story about a complex human society in all universe. I felt this could be really what could happen in the future and all my imaginary hats are down.
(-) Really. They didn't show much progression about relationships and everything we know till now was already stablished in seiran nº1(apart from political and enemy encounters). It was strongly suggested that everything we watched till now was only an introduction to the main story so now that we're hooked with the additional characters and open ending we must revise the manga or the original anime.
I would be willing to continue this story as now we're starting to see things that are going to get really interesting.
