18if seems unique, because of the protagonist goal is like escaping the dream world but soon it will reveal some plot twists and things you never expected.
18if got different stories for each 2-3 episodes and different genres for each of them. Some of these stories are good and heartwarming, but a lot of them are mediocre.
The more you watch this, the more messed up the story is. It is like a story with no point, repeating things and adding things that not important or relevant to the story. It begin from mystery-fantasy anime to harem anime full of cliche.
That what makes me disappointed with this anime because it has a potential and it wasted it.
The art is very good, every story has different art styles which is fun to watch. But i got very disgusted on the last episodes where things got really ugly. The art of this anime is what makes this anime worth watching even tho it is not enjoyable and feels bland.
The soundtrack is good too and each stories have unique soundtrack that makes it more colorful. I think Art and Sound is what makes this anime watchable.
The MC is bland, the supporting characters are also bland. The girls has a very interesting stories, but its only a few of them and most of them are like tipical harem heroines.
Overall i enjoy the early parts and the more i watch the series the more i hate it.
