Amnesia (Anime) add (All reviews)
Jan 19, 2020
I found this while browsing through Tetsuya Kakihara's anime roles and when I saw that Akira Ishida was in it too, I was sold. Two of my fav seiyuus.
I also liked the character designs.

Story:
In the beginning, I thought it was okay since it was mysterious. Heroine loses her memories and so on. Great.
However, that changed as my confusion began to grow larger and larger. At episode 3 I already was in a "wtf is happening??? I don't understand anything" state.
You learn the names and faces of the male characters but barely anything ABOUT them throughout the whole anime.
The end of the anime is kind of better, but not by much.

Art:
I liked the designs, as previously stated. The chequered clothes with a one of a kind style (just look at Shin and you will know what I mean). Even though I was misled at first, as I thought there was way more fantasy.
The eyes, I loved those.

Sound:
I liked the music, or at least I can't complain about it.

Characters:
First of all - just what the fuck, Toma???
Secondly, the characters didn't show much depth, so all of them were pretty bland.
However, the Heroine was even MORE bland. She did not have any character traits besides being shy and timid - her soft voice adds a lot to this. She seems helpless at all times, not able to do much herself. And her "help" Orion, the fairy, was not much of a help at all.

Enjoyment:
Well, I would never recommend watching this anime.

Overall:
I am hoping that the otome game is better than this anime. Otherwise... sigh.
