High Score Girl II is a very fun and cute show that continues to follow the rivalry of the protagonist. This season focused on the development of the protagonists relationships and built upon the previous season very well. There's not much to say besides it was an enjoyable experience as we see each character grow and develop while doing their best in tough situations. The art is as weird as ever but the soundtrack and humor of the show definitely was enough for me to be invested. The show also does a very nice job incorporating many references from arcade classics and shows just how much these games influence the protagonist by being an outlet for him to have the mindset of "What would ___ do in this situation?!" which touched me personally since I can relate to times where my favorite game characters have motivated me to do my best as well. Overall the show is a good watch, it isn't anything too crazy but its a show that has a lot of relatable scenes and feel good moments. Hoping for another season!
