Koro sensei took everyone through a ride of emotions during season 2 of assassination classroom. It continues off from season 1 where the students almost successfully assassinated Koro sensei. I first watched this show while it was airing, but I recently re-watched it, and my opinion has only become more positive.

Story: 9
The story is quite original and very well executed. Each arc in engaging and develops the scene, furthering the storyline. Season 2 built up perfectly towards the ending. At the beginning of the series, the ending is foreshadowed countless times. In assassination classroom, this works very well, with each episode building up to the ending.

Art: 8
The art and animation of assassination classroom is by no means bad - I think although there have been many anime with better animation, assassination classroom's animation fits very well with its theme. The colour scheme is quite vibrant at happy times, as it slowly shifts more to blue shades during more melancholy scenes.

Sound: 8
I think the soundtracks are very underrated. Like the art, assassination classroom's soundtracks may not be its strength, but they are still appropriate for the scene. The ending was more powerful with the ost added to it as it added a depth to the scene that wouldn't have been there without it. I also loved the openings and endings personally, especially how they contrasted each other. I also loved how well the lyrics of 'question' particularly fit the story.

Character: 10
In my opinion this is one of the few shows where every character is utilised. Of course the most light is shed upon the main characters like Karma, Nagisa and Koro sensei, but the side characters also have a very big part to play. There is enough focus on everyone in Class - E (and Asano) so you can relate with all of them. Assassination classroom does not just focus on their main characters and it works really well for it. There are so many interesting relationships (Karma and Asano's rivalry, Karasuma and Irina etc.) that make the show what it is.

Enjoyment: 10
I truly enjoyed this show. So much so that I would go far enough to call it my favourite anime series. It was funny, sad, and kept me waiting for what happened next. Overall it gets a 10/10 from me. It taught me a lot and it got me into anime.
