To me, the beginning defined how thrilling the movie would be for the entirety. The lighting, colors, fluid animation between the people and backgrounds, and the dream sequences was breath-taking to see. I really enjoyed the music throughout the dreams and prior to climax.
Paprika really takes the stage whenever she's on screen, and the depths behind Konakawa's past and what he learns by the end is fulfilling. Tokita's understanding and explaining in how everything works alongside his interactions with the others is something I find fun to watch.
Throughout watching the movie, my eyes remained glued to the screen wondering what would happen next in the dreams.
Overall, I greatly enjoyed this movie.
