Mixed Feelings
There's just a little something about Overlord that always draws me back, despite its shortcomings (and there are a fair few). Perhaps it's the intrinsic dual-nature of the show, the conflicted feelings you get when the protagonist is actually the bad guy, and you're vouching for the side-characters.

So first of all, it's still Overlord, more so than the first season; Ainz is untouchable to no-one's surprise, and this time he finally goes out to conquer the world. Which he does. I'm sure that doesn't really qualify as a spoiler. :D So, if you're into that sorta ting (watching him slaughter others with ease), good stuff.

The change in character feels a bit sudden. His subordinates suspect he's out to conquer the world, so he just kinda goes along with it, killing thousands. A bit of a leap from previous seasons; but I suppose that's why you watch this anime.

Just like season 2, we get some character development and world building that feels inconsequential. It focuses for a good amount of time on characters that are interesting enough, but then quickly get forgotten as they don't amount to anything. Maybe they will in future seasons..? For example: remember the lizards? They're back, for a few seconds..!

Character development for the main crew is few and far between. Some characters get a few things to do, others barely get a line.

I also ought to mention the CGI. Overlord has always done this, but now it's quite excessive. For any scene with more than 10 characters in it, rest assured there is wonky CGI to represent them. It's almost like a meme at this point! It didn't break it for me, but it's a bit jarring.

The fights; somehow I felt there weren't many. Those that were there were either off-screen, glossed over, CGI'd, or over in an instant. No Shalltear vs Ainz I'm afraid.

The dialogue and political play is pretty interesting.

For me, having not read the original material, I felt quite confused with what was going on. It felt like I was missing scenes.

In the end, I found it a mediocre season, but I still enjoyed it. Not every day you get to watch an evil lich murder a bunch of people.
