Now that I've finished Banana fish I had to write a review on this beautiful gem. Being a anime I've wanted to watch for some time but never getting my time to fully start it.. but THEN when I got my hands on it I watched it all in a very short time.
Banana fish has a story that captured me and kept me there all the way to the end. -It's exciting where I panic for my favorite characters, funny scenes that makes me laugh and have to replay the scene cus.. I'm weird? And this makes a good balance of action and comedy!:)
With characters that makes me attached from the beginning to the end. Both in personality and appearance. Songs that I couldn't skip and still listen to even after finished. Voiceactors that fits the characters and does a good job! The art is kinda "realistic and cool", and I enjoyed looking at it -not just characters but also the environment! -Also if you have been in New York you really get the feeling you are back there while watching this.. or so I did?
If you want to watch this for the bl.. I don't blame you.. I was the same haha.. but then I also wanna say that it's not tagged with "shounen-ai" CUS! it's not a romance anime. Yes, there is some cute scenes making my heart squeeze BUT! This is not the main plot of the anime, but that didn't really matter to me hehe.
Overall I don't have much negative to say about Banana fish. I enjoyed it too much and it made me write my first bad review sry! And I keep thinking of this anime days after finishing. And I'm happy this gem got a anime so that me and many others got to know this masterpiece!:))
