The first thing I will say about SAO is that I really hated the first 2 seasons. They had pretty good potential but instead they decided to throw away the writing and replace with a terribly written harem with weak characters and story arcs that go no where. However with Alicization Im happy to say that most of if not all of that shit is gone. Now theres actual character development and the writing is actually good. The only problems I have is that the fight scenes were kind of weak sometimes. There is also a scene in episode 10 where these 2 men are sexually assulting these 2 girls and while the scene serves a purpose in Eugeos arc, it was a bit over the top. Other than that this is easily the best season which isnt saying much since this is the only good season.
