Compared to the first season, the events are extremely lackluster. Saitama hardly does anything this time around. Basically, the whole of season 2 wouldn't even equate to half of the first season in terms of how much action Saitama has.
The story progression is something you'd expect to see across 4-6 episodes rather than an entire season.
While the animation was really good, its a shame that they didn't get to do anything with Saitama, and instead only get to animate others.
