If you know me too well, I actually kinda liked the 1st Season (or rather the 1st cour) of this series.

HOWEVER! This 2nd season / 2nd-cour just dropped the bomb. LITERALLY.

Expanding another 13 episodes, the 2nd season dives into where Season 1 ended with the Arthur team encountering the world-destroying goddess Pharsalia, with the thought that where they stood at Season 1's end wasn't even gonna hit her hard, the Arthur team took another approach.

AND IT'S A WEIRD BUT NECESSARY APPROACH: Fairy Combine.
Like, seriously, I get it that the fairies have been there with the team, and with the writers putting in this plot device that is necessary for all of the members to upgrade their powers...uh, weird flex but OK.

And I have to say that Season 2 is the worst-showing after building all that hype that is Season 1, even if nobody is watching this (and you shouldn't). The prequel of 10 episodes was honestly more than enough time to get engaged with the hilarious characters, stupid senseless enemies and the whole fairy thing, that was fine. But the sequel here just about abominated every aspect it was going for: Characters, music, you name it, I have it all.

Once again, I don't have a favourite character, although legitimately I see the leader (Dancho) as a running gag while others are smart and capable on their own.

Music too was VERY unsuitable to what it was going for. The guys over at Technoboys Pulcraft Green-Fund for the prequel had so much music composed that was honestly great in my mind, OP and ED combined. However, ORESAMA took the sequel, and oh, my god. I really cannot stand the OST this time. It's different for sure, but it sure doesn't have the same feel as before.

If you never watched this series, GOOD. Keep away from this.
Sorry to those who thought that the sequel here will have more impact (plus more gags) that lead nowhere, and amount to an ending that just triggers us.
