Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (3/26 eps)
I got interested in seeing how Mirai Kikki was like when my little brother let me listen to it's opening song.

I've only seen the first 3 episodes so far and I can already see that if you've only see a handful of anime, you would have a lot of pretty strong opinions about it both positive and negative but from my viewing, it's just okay. Not much of anything interesting about the show honestly but I do have a few things to comment on.

Story: 6
It has a cool premise being essentially The Hunger Games if everyone could be able to predict the future. I wouldn't say that it's handled badly... so far... but from the first 3 episodes it's pretty standard with the way it tackles it's themes. Although it's pacing and tone can be a bit off as it abruptly goes from being cute and comedic to edgy and fucked up within a dime more often than not (and vice versa) and it's pretty distracting honestly.

Art: 5
It's okay I guess. Not much of anything to take note of honestly.

Sound: 8
Honestly the main reason why it's getting an 8 for sound is because of it's kickass opening. It has a lot of energy to it and it does an okay job at letting you know what kind of show you're watching. The rest of the sound including it's other song is just okay.

Characters: 5
They're alright I suppose. My favorite character so far is probably Kurusu. I will comment that the main character, Yuki is pathetic as hell. He actually makes Shinji Ikari (from Evangelion) look like a bad ass in comparison. And the yandere girl, Yuno does give me the creeps although I'm pretty sure that last bit was intentional.

Enjoyment: 6
It's so so honestly, I'll probably watch more of it if I feel like it.

Overall: 5
This opinion is obliged to change in the future if I watch more of it but so far, it's okay. Far from one of my favorite anime but I've seen a lot worse anime as well.
