Ahh, finally a serious MMORPG isekai anime that won't be disappointing (I'm looking at you SAO). Really, if you felt disappointed while watching SAO thinking it would be a cool anime where Kirito grinds the hell out of the game, overcomes hardships and clears the game, well congratulations, this is the anime you were looking for.


Well enough with SAO and let's move on to the actual review.

Looking at the synopsis written above halfway you'd think that it's a pretty standard start to an isekai anime right? Now this is where the real fun begins. Due to being the weakest he faces various hardships. Betrayal, looked down upon, unable to trust anyone, you name it.

And it was then that started what SAO failed to do.
