First of all, the animation is gorgeous! Although it can be a little bit crude sometimes, the fight scenes are incredibly dynamic and Mob's psychic powers are captured in a beautiful style. Also, the characters are unique and interesting. Especially Mob. He can be seen as a tad bit dull, but his inner conflict and personality is quite deep and surprisingly moving. Finally, the humor. It does miss the mark occasionally, but it works with the tone of the series quite well.
I feel like most people skip this one because of the unorthodox art style (like many other anime, for example, Osomatsu-san) but it grows on you and is really quite cute. Bones does a wonderful job of adapting One's style- sometimes the characters are drawn simply, and in epic moments they're drawn in a more anime style. The show has been crafted with care-- from the music, to the direction, to the story and the animation. If you're looking for something to brighten your day (and get your heart pumping with bombastic fight scenes and One's signature comedy) check Mob Psycho out!
