The story is about two high-schoolers Noko and Yuushi (though only a small part of the plot actually takes place in school). Noko is your typical hard-working, diligent class rep while Yuushi is constantly sleeping in class. Not only in school, but their behaviors oppose each other in most ways. That is of course a very promising setting for a couple.
Now the plot is rather simple, yet fun; Some day, Yuushi finds a baby at his doorstep with the note that it is his and he should take care of it for a while. Not knowing what to do, he asks Noko (which is his neighbour) to help out. While they have to take care of the baby, they get to know eachother outside of school, and learn about eachothers strong points.
There is no drama, no love polygon or anything of that sort. It solely focuses on the main characters growing closer.
