Even in the post-space-age, where people feel small and lost, the characters never question their reasons to believe and love, as if they were born knowing the end, yet still holding hands of each other, smiling about their existence. The plots, though all connecting the grander scheme of human’s history, are themselves all very simple and warm --- loved ones embrace their future together, perplexed teens live out to be who they really are.
The story moves through time, where we can see previous protagonists became parents, even grandparents, and their efforts, discoveries and their meanings of life all became pieces of the past. It’s extremely hard for me to take in, like marveling at the beauty and liveliness of stars, but knowing that what we see are mere images hundreds of years ago, while their owners have already passed on, joining the rest of the darkness in our universe.
