Reviews

10/10, I just finished watching the show and honestly, I've never written a review before on here but my thoughts on this show were so extreme that I almost had to write one. so let's talk about it.

Story: let me start by saying that yes. this show is very sad. The storyline of this show is amazing, the premise sets up for a lot of sad moments, not only at the end but throughout the show. Even during the first episode, I teared up. The romance aspect of this show is fantastic too, I'm not gonna spoil anything but just know that the romance has a lot to it instead of just the black and white I love him or I don't that a lot of anime has.

Art: the animation is great in this show, the backgrounds and landscape scenes have incredible detail and all of the characters are drawn colorfully but with lots of detail as well. Also, I freaking love the opening to this show, it has a cool chalk drawing aesthetic and the plastic memories cuts with the tan design with the blue and red color are also really cool. You'll understand what I'm talking about once you see the show

Character development: The character development in plastic memories is one of the best I've seen, almost all of the characters in the show have some development during the show, a lot of this can also be seen in the romance aspect that I talked about earlier. But it's not just the main two characters, everyone around them develops and grows as a person in just 13 short episodes.

Enjoyment: this show might honestly be my new favorite anime ever, I watched it all in one go and was glued to the screen the whole time. I originally planned to break it up and watch some tonight and the rest tomorrow night. but once I started watching, plans quickly changed.

Overall I highly recommend this anime But do be warned, its a sad one. I cried like a baby multiple times. I had to drink a glass of water after this show, that's how much I cried.
