I stumbled upon this anime a long time ago only to forget about it until this last summer. I read that this anime was meant to be only one season and created purely to promote and sell the manga. However, the amount of support it got was overwhelming that the creator continued with the anime. For continuity/story sake it is only natural for some things to get cut or changed around for it to make sense to the watcher who hasn't read the manga. Even so, I cannot praise this anime enough! The Story and world building is outstanding and very deep for an anime. The art however due to an animation budget suffers at times with its CGI but sometimes makes scenes better - it's a difficult balancing act, and is up to personal preference. Other than that minor compliant this is a great anime. My only warning for newer viewers, again especially if you're an anime only watcher. Pay attention to everything in the sub, season 1 in particular is huge information dump and missing one sentence of information can easily make it hard to follow later on. If you have ever played an RPG, give this anime a try!
