One thing you have to know about this manga is that it is just pure. The story of how an elderly man and a cat find the joys of life together just warms your heart. Both of them go through various struggles- Fukumaru coming in terms that he is loved and the gentleman dealing with the passing of his wife. And this is revealed gradually though the chapters. So once we have a very light hearted one and other times the themes are heavier but it always ends in the man and the cat helping each other. So the result is a adorable slice of life story a lot of pet owners can relate to.
