Story 6/10: So the story isn't terrible, it's actually quite enjoyable.. but then we get to the some parts where it becomes a total snooze fest and I don't understand why it was added in.. The anime could of easily became a 24 episode series where it showed the development between the two main characters but at last it did not and I'm not expecting a season 2 considering the time gap between the first and second! The story good though and really fit in well with it showing Ritsu coming out of her shell from this lonely book worm to a.. lonely book worm who can actually socialize abit more now... Overall the story is a sweet and innocent series and will do wonders if you're looking for that type of series. The romance in it isn't strong and it will go no where considering it ended at this point.. It's really slow paced and is kind of stupid.. It took the MC 12 god damn episodes just to get her phone number!! 12 EPISODES!!! Talk about slow.. Personally I don't mind if it's slow IF there is a ending where they get together. The ending was sweet and it showed how they developed over the course of the series but I just didn't enjoy the ending as much as it could of gone.. You could say it completely ruined it for me to see this end the way it did..
Art 7/10: The art/animation is actually pretty decent in this considering it was released just under 4 years ago.. It's got lots of colors and liked to pop out at you and you'll definitely know what's happening just from the animation.. Sad moments are amazing because you can actually feel the power behind it and really get into it! The animation was dope!
Sound 7/10: I'm not big for sound but nothing really seemed out of place and it did have some good soundtracks here and there..
Character 7/10: Personally hated how slow the pace and considering there were no end results for the two main characters but that's nothing that can be helped... The characters were decent and I enjoyed watching a different type of anime where it shows them coming out of their shells, I kind of got a Sakurasou no pet na kanojo vibe for this anime and I'm sure anyone who watched it will too.. Each character developed surprisingly well and it was good to see them develop as a whole! It would of been nice to see more backstory to each character and become more involved with them showing their childhood/past and how it actually came to how they are now..
Overall: It isn't the bed anime for a romance kind of person or is looking for a sappy love story where they end up together.. But if you're looking for a slow paced romance story which will go no where because the anime ended so quickly then here you go.. I still enjoyed it to a certain point and would recommend it if you've come off of a action packed anime with a lot of death and are looking for something sweet and innocent looking but that's pretty much it's only use for you..
