As story goes, the writing for this show isn't abysmal, but it's not incredible. The characters aren't one-dimensional by any stretch, but this is the major problem with the show: each episode reads as a very heavy-handed product placement for the episodes featured alcohol. Brand names and glowing recommendations go hand in hand, and the native advertising present isn't subtle enough to not be irritating. As for art and sound, I can't say that they are anything out of the ordinary or spectacular. The OP takes artistic liberties with underwater alcohol physics, but that's in the interest of cementing each character to their preferred drink. The story is a basic slice of life show, but the vast majority of each episode is focusing on giving as much background information on the drink of the week.
If this show breaks suddenly from its formula of beating you over the head with product placement, I would recommend it as a comfy, quiet show. Until then, the advertising is just too much.
