Why haven't i written a review about this till now?Why?I mean yeah ok i am a busy man,i try to balance work and everyday shit and ruining every single good thing in my life cause i'm a deeply flawed creature and boohoo boohoo nobody loves me..
So School Days.And how do i sum it up?How do i start?I know!!!!I shall throw some pseudo-intellectual shit like other people do for shows that have absolutely nothing going for them and they want to justify the fact that they wasted their time by throwing some clever sounding shit they found on something called dictionary.
The story is about a young 'un who struggles to find himself in an everchanging world where the capitalistic system wants to mass produce sheep with absolutely no capability of critical thinking,and they do exactly that by invading the educational system rendering it useless.Then you have media that only care about selling products to their customers(viewers).And what better way to sell said products by using sex.
And that's what this anime explores.The degeneration of generations through excessive and disgusting exposure to unnatural sex.Think about it,when was the last time there was a medical breakthrough that shook the world?We are bombarded by studies that show that we have less sex or spend more and more time in FacePorn or something and as a result we treat each other like meat.Well duh,we didn't need Porntube or studies to find out that humanity is the cancer of this earth.
And our MC is trying to find the true meaning while trying to not be influenced by the media and tries to make something of himself and change that educational system by fucking it to death.Fight fire with fire.Viva la revolution bitches.Though his revolution ended up abruptly and violently.But his legacy will live forevermore in the hearts of free people.And do not think his death didn't serve any purpose.Cause at the very end of this anime we get a medical breakthrough...In gynecology and head transplant.
You just don't get this shit in anime nowadays.It's all about moe and glitter and all that nonsense.School Days is a landmark in anime.It descends down the deepest,blackest aspects of the human soul and you have to admire it for achieving it in only 12 eps.It not only changed the face of anime industry it changed the way we view the world.
