After coming back to this anime for the second time, like many others, this one too has aged very well. That being said it's still my favorite cyberpunk inspired anime to date.

Now to start, we have a city that is mostly high tech, with your average slums and low life areas, which is where Cyberpunk gets its motto: "High Tech, Low Life." The first few scenes we see in the first episode are breathtaking. It captures an ideal world that would suit the modern day idea of a cyberpunk reality. We start with a new girl named Akane Tsunemori, who at the beginning is a new Inspector working for Division 1. She is administered on her first day on the job to help take out someone who has an elevated psycho-pass, and from there slowly learns what it's really like to be an inspector, and what the hard truth could be. It's an interesting trip to figure out who the real bad-guy is here, and it'll have you thinking.

If there's one thing I like in a character, it's intellect. The main antagonist, Shougo Makishima, is a perfect balance of intellect, and cunning. His ability to manipulate his targets is impeccable. And the quarrel between himself and Kogami throughout the anime is just perfect. Aside from that, the progression of how the characters mature and evolve is really interesting to watch as the show progresses.

All in all this anime still lives up to the hype I once gave it, and even more so now. Still love the animation and music, both are incredibly detailed. If you like a fast paced, well developed anime, I highly recommend you give this one a shot!
