This probably won't be much of a reliable review since I fall apart just thinking about this anime haha.

WHEN I FIRST started watching this or saw it at a quick glimpse, I thought it was a romance that would drag on throughout the entire season.

Admit it, we've all seen romances where the main heroine takes the entire season to confess to her crush. It is different in this anime. She confesses to him soon after their encounter, and this is where the story begins. Now before you go and knit-pick for her confessing only after they've met, some people need to understand that this is a SHOUJO anime with a simple 24 episodes !!! It is based off of their development as a couple than how they met, but they continue to grow as characters and that is what I find so likable about it.

You'd also think that there would be misunderstandings, given that the protagonist is telling his love story as the title states - and his best friend is the best looking guy at school. But NO, thank the lord, there are barely any misunderstandings unlike a lot of dramatic romances. Unless you live for that, this anime might not be suitable for you. Each episode kind of represents something new he learns in a relationship AND as a person.

One of my favorite things about this show is that ALL of the characters have room for development, and his handsome best friend is not just a simple side character. Not many of the characters are there just to fill the space. They were all given screen time and romance was approached in different ways here.

Overall: It is a cute show with the most precious characters *-* Something that really held it down was their friendship (sorry, not so good with names) - It was simple and fun to watch.
