I even read the manga before the movie so I knew the story.
Amazing movie, not too flashy, the animation is flawless but that is the icing on the cake. The story, being deaf, bullying, PTSD, suicide, social anxiety.
This is so much more than pretty. When I love animes and give them a 9 I feel like its justified but this one made everything right. The soundtrack is so touching too.
You need to watch this, it is really not overrated like many other animes with high scores.
