Noragami is great in terms of humorous content, art style and music that hits at the right pauses.

Though, it could have used some depth in the story as my main issue with most anime nowadays is that the context speeds up to its climax way too fast. Some other series have done it rather brilliantly but Norgami, you missed the mark.

**Light spoilers ahead, so please tread carefully!**

Noragami celebrates the beautiful concept of humans tainting the god they're connected to. Shinki as we know by watching the first two episodes rather, are souls of humans that are not yet tainted by dread. Once turned into a shinki, any kind of malicious thought may sting their master i.e. the god they are tied to. I think its a rather precious relationship between God and Man that the writer of noragami has tried to depict and he does so masterfully, continuing to increase the bond of said story.

Though, as the story progresses, its kind of obvious of the love interest that shall establish between god and human, which is a pro and a con at the same time, as it sates the appetite of the watcher and kind of kills the suspense throughout the series.

The character development could have used more depth.

Yato is pretty much your generic wannabe-protagonist who is likable to the extent that nearly everyone is ready to help him. Yukine is your clueless and heplful protagonist (quite generic there as well) and Hiyori, your generic all-kind and loving heroine.

All in all, its a humorous anime and is quite entertaining to watch, so I'll give it a modest 7.5/8.
