Story 9/10
From episode 1 you can guess in what direction this anime will be going. This is not your typical fighting or happily ever after anime. This anime focus more on way of thinking. How beastman people see this little girls as weapons and they don´t care if they lose their life or not. How our MC sees this little girls different, because of his past and his feelings or how Nygglatho have a different point of view on the whole situation. It is a story about a promise, fear, desire to love and to be loved.

Well, there are some truly amazing scenes. But sometimes you see that there was probably not enough of budget.
Sound 10/10
I guess that everyone who watch this anime understand. Music is used simply perfect and it fits really well. For example, Scarborough Fair version was outstanding.
Characters 9/10
Willem, Kutori, Nygglatho, girls, I think it is really hard to don´t like them. They offer you a different point of view on the whole situation. Also Kutori x Willem interaction is in my opinion really nicely done. Also, Willem x girls´ interaction or Willem x Ren interaction is truly cute.
Overall, I really enjoy the story. Don´t expect a fighting anime or some fan-service. This anime is simply focused on feelings. Love, fear, tragedy and more, you will find them all.
