I have only seen one type of anime in this area and that was Acchi kocchi and that didn't impress me much so I was a bit sceptical about this, boy was I wrong.
Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maids is another one of those anime's that concentrates on comedy, cuteness and dragons, this is a strange combination, but it works amazingly well because even though there isn't really a complex plot since the episodes on one subject then move onto the next it's the combinations that I said before that make it work so well and it is downright hilarious and adorable almost all of the time, plus it's also fun seeing the dragons get used to living in Human Society while our human MC Kobayashi gets used to living with them.
The characters were great and there is quite a range of them going from Tooru the main dragon who is a energetic Yandere + Tsundere dragon since she has the hots for Kobayashi because she saved her, Kanna the youngest and most adorable dragon or character ever, Lucoa the caring and very relaxed dragon who has surprisingly large Oppai's (Though that's good for me) and a few others called Fafnir who is a very emotionless dragon and Elma a very hard of choice making dragon.
All of these dragons are great and even Kobayashi feels very relatable to me as well since she oddly reminds me a lot of myself, there are possibly two things I don't like about the characters 1. is Saikawa who is annoying and 2. is that Elma could've gotten more screen-time since she is introduced pretty late in the show
The artstyle fitted the show nicely with the round faced option which is very common in these anime's and there is also a few sexual innuendos in there as well which make the show even more hilarious.
If you're looking for an anime to laugh your ass off to and overload your Kawaii metre then this is most certainly that anime.
