They ruined one of the most awesome badass anti-villain character there is!
The silver haired girl in the manga, she was a badass homuculi that had a mission and did not stop to anything to fulfill said mission even if it costed to scarify (mostly sexually) anyone who crosses her way. But started becoming soft after meeting the black haired girl who became her friend.
Shiro was badass, she had attitude. The silent character villain with a cause...
AND THEY RUINED IT IN THE ANIME ADAPTATION!!!!!!
Noooo!! in the animation she is timid, innocent, and actually didn't want to cause harm to anyone but was forced to "be bad" by the stupid pendant she wore... as if the pendant was the villain... and worst she had no cause for her actions at all but was a puppet of said pendant who had a demon inside.
and then they make the demon posses her black haired friend (who turned out to be her sister) into the villain... that is bullshit!
In the manga when Shiro (silver haired heroine) discovered that Kuro (black haired friend) was her sister. They both join forces and do mischievous things to everyone, most under the grimoires' influences.
But in the anime that is not explained and is all generic hentai fuck and tentacle crap and the villain "Oooh i am the queen bee bitch!"
What the hell?!
I am really disappointed how they ruined one epic story-line for a quick buck.
I do not recommend this animation. Go read the manga instead, that is the canon story and well better redacted... it also makes sense as to what everything is going on and the reason it happened.
so for this flick i give a 3 for ruining the story, a 10 for art because in the end the artwork was decent. 7 on sound because of generic. 7 to characters because some of them were still well made, only shiro and kuro were mostly ruined. 5 on enjoyment because how the story changed so much.
Over all I give 5 out of 10.
