This is one of those shows which never got to show its full potential. It has every quality for a hit anime, a lot better than some of the more over-rated stuff. The anime follows the protagonist and his struggles due to his financial condition. He has to fight his way through the food isle to finally get to his desired Ben-to. Keep in mind that the MC is weak but not that whiny that you'll have to drop it. The anime has great character development, subtle romance, action and more than anything else, it has good comedy. some of the moments might be a little cringey but then again which anime is cringe free?
One of the shows where the plot sounds idiotic but everything makes sense in the anime. You might have to get used to the idea of people wrestling over food but it's all worth it! The plot develops in a good pace keeping us aware of everything important. It has some of the best characters I've seen in all the animes. I've never forgotten its name even though its been more than two years. overall, definitely worth a shot if you're looking for romance/action/comedy anime.
