Plot:needs some work. There were issues from start to finish. For example moon walking information is not used, some characters seem to commit suicide rather than supposed to die from enemies. A lot of blanks that need filling in.
character:development wise i feel Indifference on. Yes, characters did have a backstory but i felt something could have been added to make the connection between character to character stronger. For example, in the intro there was a small creature. That creature and the female character got off as buddies not strangers. However, there are more of that same yellow creature present on the planet. Does that mean the female was familiar with others and that is how she got to know this creature as a friend so quickly?
art: was not dreadful nor superb. A middle ground. What was not visual pleasant was the warping/fast movement. What was supposed to be a quicker frame to frame action of the scene around them appeared to be a separate background attempting to camouflage itself into the current surroundings. There is also that famous superman catch kind of scene that make you go really? really? that can not be done that way. Sheldon explained it best in "big bang theory".
Conclusion remark: an okay movie. An even more so if you enjoy mecha/scifi. Although, this target audience should be changed to a higher group. Do people not watch what they say no more? Also there was smoking. How does vulgarity and smoking fair well for the young-lings?
