I am not going to write a fully-detailed review, as there are plenty here already that will do the job better than me. I just want to say that it is very difficult to watch as a transgender person because of how realistic the characters' struggles are. It reminds me of a very tough time of my life.

If you're looking for realistic portrayals of LGBT characters, good and unique art, and an overall gentle story, look no further.

The music is nice and unobtrusive. It does its job as soothing background noise quite well. The OP and ED are decent in my opinion; not spectacular, but catchy and fun for the ears.

The art style is very different from most anime. It looks like it was painted with watercolour. Even the most mundane of locations look gorgeous in this anime.

I highly recommend this anime for anyone who wants to understand more about the struggles of transgender children, or for transgender people who want relatable characters.
