Preliminary (24/25 eps)
Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu Review

Story (7/10) Good

The Story for Re:Zero is good... that's it, in my opinion if anyone tells you otherwise then they are kind of blind-sighted by the immense about of shock-factor, waifus with a dash of sakuga to keep you entertained in the actual anime which is good sure for entertainment purposes. Which is funny how people can call the story of One Punch Man repetitive (yes we are talking about OPM in a Re:Zero review fuck off) but then when it comes to the repetition you find in this story it's just ok now isn't it? "What do u mean repetitive!? I see no repetition in this anime Riku!" Oh really? Well mutherfucker let me tell you something EVERY ANIME IS REPETITIVE it's how good you hide that repetition behind elements of your overall story that makes it less repetitive in comparison to others. And repetition isn't a bad thing because if it was trust me this section wouldn't be a 7 it would probably be like a fucking 5 or some shit. The whole MC dies comes back to life and tries again in my opinion got old mega fast, like by episode 15 I really didn't care where the story was going because yeah sure he's progressing but I just felt too many episodes were kind of wasted to just showcase how fucked up that can kill off the MC or anyone he cares about just for all that shit not to mean anything when it comes back to life. "But Riku it takes a mental toll on his mind!" Oh stfu this anime took a mental toll on my mind and an insult to my intelligence when it came to the amount of plot convenient bull shit events that took place in these 25 episodes. "Man it sound like you hated it Riku" oh no like I said I think the story if good, but anything more than that... I can't see it.. which is why this rant is what it is.

Art and Animation (9/10) Great
More Specifically (9.50/10) Great

Now this is something to compliment White Fox Studios for they've done two greatly animated series before this that come to my mind and that's Akame Ga Kill and Steins;Gate which both were animated and looks great also. This is easily the highest rated category for me it stayed looking clean majority of the time, the CG stuff here and there was not welcomed though... I caught em here and there and I know u did to... if you didn't then your lying.. I know you saw them...

Sound (8/10) Very Good
More Specifically (8.75/10) Very Good+

White Fox excels at choosing great opening music, ending songs and voice actors for their adaptations. Going back to Akame Ga Kill and Steins;Gate you can saw the same thing about those series as you can say about this one. Music is very good no BGM during the actual anime was memorable in my opinion but it did have it's handful of sound effects that were though.

Characters (6/10) Fine
More Specifically (6.75/10) Fine+

The characters were fine in this anime, I didn't think majority of them were good though let alone memorable. I didn't care for the MC, Emilia, Puck, or Ram. Now Rem on the other hand definitely deserves some recognition if not by the MC (because he's a dumb ass) by me. Reinhard was cool until he hit the backburner hard as fuck and gets replaced by Julius, Wilhelm van Astrea fucked everyone up and had a decent backstory to go along with it so I'll give you that one but the main villain Petelgeuse was just straight up annoying when he was first introduced we he was insane and that was cool but by the end of the anime the dude wasn't even intimidating anymore he was just straight annoying and I felt dragged on a bit to far.

Enjoyment (6/10) Fine
More Specifically (6.50/10) Fine

I jumped on the bandwagon when episode 18 was out and binged it to get caught up because people where hyping this shit up to no fucking end. I stayed caught up weekly for episode 19 and 20 (which is around the whale fight) but after that I didn't feel this was something worth watching weekly. Maybe it's because I'm used to binge watching it.. or maybe the repetition of him dying on episode then the episode after that figuring out with he need to do with no real consequence got to me on a repetitive/boring level maybe it was a little of both. What ever it was my enjoyment didn't stay pass a 7 for majority of my time watching this anime as during the episodes where he's just talking and running around doing slice of life crap with the waifus put me to sleep just to wake up at the last 5 minutes of the episode to see him get killed and then having the next episode being him kinda scared but not really got so old so quick. I rather watch Saitama one punch something tbqh that repetition stayed entertaining to me.

Overall (7/10) Good
More Specifically (7.70/10) Good+

Going into this I wanted to get something that lived up to the hype of being "a better Boku Dake" as everyone was saying it was listening from the outside and it was at first to me. But I personally think the 25 episode length killed it for me when it came to the series it dragged it's 1 trick pony plot on for far far too long. They could have done this in 12-16 episodes if they were pairing up episodes for slice of life/death montage episode then let's figure this out here i did it perfectly episode following after straight to the end of the anime which not a single character major character actually dying off. With the amount of death this anime has shown no one died.. just remember that.. not saying character deaths are need but I sure as hell prefer it over what we got instead. With the popularity that this anime brought to the table I would be fucking surprised if White Fox didn't make a Season 2. Because even though I don't want to see one it definitely needs one with the amount of unanswered questions there still are. Will I watch it if it gets one and airs? I don't fucking know, this shit was overhyped I'll tell you what... BACK TO JOJOS! :P
