first , the characters design is fresh for make a example compare Ryuko body with others anime popular waifus. I can't explain why the design in this (and other shows that the same creator works) is super cool is only imaishi style. talking about the animation is good ( and is limited animation) The soundtrack is very good and sticky

STORY&CHARACTERS
The premise and the explanation of the clothes power is very good to a point when you take it serious and is the best of the series. Ryuko Matoi is a good and interesting protagonist and one of the antagonists Nui when he appears with he design and personalty is impossible no loved but for much that i love she style is only charismatic
For others the main antagonist Ragyo is only a typical villain that the most of the personalty is what perverse can be is not a bad character because is mother so freaking perverse that is funny to see. Satsuki and the some others have a past story but any of the past stories that put in the characters really have develop
And a problem with this show that is no a clear develop and message also the speech of ryuko in the final battle don't establish nothing for a develop
CONCLUSION
Kill la Kill is cool and rare show is funny to see is different but without the premise is no really something remarkable and is a cool rule of cool
